Steven Ingrid Boone Youth Foundation (SIB), Inc. is excited to announce the upcoming Young Entrepreneurs Expo and 3 vs 3 Basketball Tournament titled “Business & Basketball”, taking place on June 30, and July 1 at Dunbar Rec Center, 208 School Highlands Rd. Greenville, AL. This event sponsored by SIB Youth Foundation, Inc. together with Jae’Ques Brown, District 4 City Councilman, Greenville, AL, is designed to showcase the talent and skills of young entrepreneurs and aspiring young business owners up to age 19, while also promoting physical activity and teamwork through a fun-filled basketball tournament. Day 1 is comprised of a 3 vs 3 basketball tournament featuring teams from around the area. The tournament will consist of age groups 6u-19u. There will be prizes for the winning teams. Fans can expect to see young players showing off their skills, and there will be plenty of opportunities for spectators to get involved with activities and contests throughout the day. Day 2 focuses on the Young Entrepreneurs Expo. This expo will feature a wide range of businesses and startups founded by young entrepreneurs and will provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to network with each other, and gain exposure for their businesses. Expo participants will have an opportunity to compete for cash prizes in each age category as well as special judges and community choice prizes. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the different booths and learn about a variety of businesses, including innovative startups, professional service businesses, t-shirt and graphic design businesses, social impact businesses, and more.
